He  is well conversant various salient features of Ayurveda and the unfathomable benefits of it for our toiling masses suffering in the dearth of reliable and inexpensive medical treatment.  That how this medical college with  the best infrastructure, civic amenities, and teaching faculty came into being, and that is how it  could get the mandatory  recognition from the Govt of India for   becoming  the ultimate source of knowledge and professional training for people around it.

The origin of the word "ayurveda” is both startling and enchanting.  Ayurveda is a system that uses the inherent principles of Nature so that the bounties of Nature can be used for one’s physical well being and so that one’s  mind and body become attuned to the tranquillity of Nature. Ayurveda is a term derived from Sanskrit,  and is made up of the words "ayus” and "veda”. "Ayus” means life and ‘veda” means knowledge or science. Thus, the term ‘ayurveda’ means ‘the knowledge of life’ or ‘the science of life.’

According to the accomplished ‘ayurvedic’ scholar, Charaka, ‘ayu’ comprises the mind, body, senses, and soul.

A few highly illuminating and basic aims of Ayurveda are preventing illness, healing the sick, and preserving life. Thus, ‘ayurveda’ helps us in the following ways:

It protects our health from any debility or impairment and prolongs life. ("Swasthyas swasthya rakshanam”). It protects every person’s health. It eliminates the chances of the occurrence of any disease and malfunctioning of the human body. ("Aturasya Vikar Prashamanamcha”)
Therefore, the conceptual and operational framework of ‘ayurveda’ is exceedingly beneficial, and it includes all the essential elements needed for making a  person healthy and happy.  It comprises the study of the right conduct (‘dharma’) that is mandatory for the healthy growth of the society where man lives. Additionally it also deals with philosophical aspect of our lives, something that contributes immensely to the well-being and contentment of the human race.
